She was employed as an esthetician at Douglas Cosmetics in Westfield for the past three years. She showed her love and compassion for animals by volunteering her time at the Linden Animal Shelter. Maria loved her family and friends. She was a special person with many interests. She enjoyed art, drawing, flowers, butterflies, and gardening. Maria especially loved cooking and listening to a variety of music. She was a member of St Ann R.C. Church in Garwood. Maria is survived by her loving mother, Saveria \"Vera\" DiTommaso of Brick; two sisters, Prima Webster and Joan DiMeo and one brother-in-law, Dane Webster, all of Brick; maternal grandmother, Maria DiTommaso of New Cumberland, Pa. She was the beloved niece of Salvatore and Livia Nicastro of New Cumberland, Pa., Randall and Domenica (Mimi) Chapnick of New Haven, Conn., and Joseph DiTommaso and Tracey Povel of East Brunswick; great-niece of Giuseppina and Giocamo Artese, and Domenica and Carmelo Madafare of Calabria, Italy; cousin of Laura DiTommaso, and Danielle DiTommaso of Spotswood, Salvatore and Sarah Nicastro of Frederick, Md., Dante and Kara Nicastro of Boulder, Colo., Eric and Cristina Nicastro of Arlington, Va., Vincenza and Marco Loiacono, Vera and Domenico Ferraro, Frank Artese and Maria Louisa and Alberto Tambaro, all of San Ferdinando, Calabria, Italy; aunt of Mark, Ian and Livia Webster; niece of Anita Belfiore, Rosemary Roda, Patricia Roda. She is survived by her fiance, Jesse Ippolito; his mother, Patricia Ippolito; his grandmother, Angelina Incognito; his sister, Jamie Trott, and his nephew, Justin. Maria is also survived by her father, John DiMeo of Clark. Maria was born Feb. 9, 1985 in Livingston in St. Barnabas Hospital and lived in Garwood before moving to Brick last year. She was a 2003 graduate of Johnson High School, Clark, and had participated in Girl's Soccer and Track Teams. Maria was a graduate of The Capri Institute, Kenilworth, and was employed as an esthetician at Douglas Cosmetics, Westfield for the past three years.
