I am now a math educator in part to celebrate Maria´s passion. Thank you Ciara for your care and treatment at Lahey. I know live in Florida and I try to spread the joy that your sister would have given.

Maria always brought a smile to my face whenever I saw her. She always stopped by my office at Lowell High School. I was a thoughtful, caring, and smart young lady. She is one of my all-time favourite students I will miss her dearly. Peace be with you, Maria. You will always be in my thoughts and memory.
