Maria “Pina” (Tripodi) Dotson, 82, died Friday at Baystate Medical Center. She came to this country in her early 30’s and met her husband on her voyage here. So sorry to hear of Pina's passing .... I have many fond memories beginning when we were planning for her arrival to USA, then meeting her and the story continues until recently when it was heart warming to say hello and connect again. Blessings to all.

So sorry to hear that Pina passed away. We had many good times together. She was a wonderful person and I,m sure she will be missed by her friends and family

I will never forget the love Pina had for her family, the delicious meals she cooked and the beautiful Italian she spoke. She treated us like family and always made us feel so welcome in her home. Together again with Herb, may you both rest in peace.

That day on Old Colony Beach was when our families first met. Who knew it would be the beginning of a friendship for our parents that would be going strong for over 40 years? Who could forget Daniela in a bonnet sitting in a huge baby carriage ? My parents overheard someone speaking beautiful Italian and that was it! They began a conversation and the rest is history. I am so sorry that she has passed. Pina was a beautiful loving woman who cared for her family and friends. May she rest in...
