FEDORCHAK, Maria After a courageous battle, Maria passed into the arms of the Lord at the Hamilton General Hospital on January 18, 2011, in her 89th year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Konstantyn Fedorchak (1993). Left to deeply mourn her passing are her three children Olya and her husband Victor Sheweli, George and his wife Coby and Peter and his wife Helen. Maria will be sadly missed by twelve grandchildren, three great-grand-children and by her nephews Mike and Ihor Sikorsky. Maria also leaves behind her sister Oleksandra and by many nieces and nephews in Ukraine. The family will receive friends at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King St. E. (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 5-9 p.m. Panachyda service Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Vladimir's on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Woodland Cemetery. Donations to St. Vladimir's Church would be appreciated.
