Not sure what to say?

Maria and I had a spiritual connection, since the day I knocked on her kitchen door, I introduced myself. After I bought their house, I told her, this will always be your home, she would come over almost daily for years, always welcomed and loved during holidays or any occasion for that matter. She had the best lemon squares, as all you know. The values, honor and love of Moses were always in our conversations, I am blessed to have been apart of her life.

I'm 10 years old, and in school I read a book called Heroes of The Holocaust. Maria (Marysia) Andzelm was in this book. I read her story titled If They're Willing to Kill Jews, They're Willing to Kill People Who Hide Jews. After reading this, I realized that Maria is a brave wonderful person who should be honored for everything she has done. I may not have known her, but I respect her very much.

I am looking for contact with relatives of Mrs. Maria Kershenbaun.

I lived in the "The Manor" for many years and Maria was my neighbor and a better neighbor there never was. A smile and good word and lots of stories. Loved the stories especially. She will be so missed.

As a child, I was in the Kershenbaum's store on Monmouth Street practically every day. It was a candy loving child's dream. Later I worked at the Post Office and would see Moses riding his bicycle around town. One day we talked. He remembered me when I was a child! That really meant a lot to me that someone actually noticed me. I later read the incredible story of Maria and WWII. By that time, Moses has already passed. I have never forgotten the Kershenbaum's and I thought of them often....
