David and Family - it pains me to hear of your lose. Melvin - you have a son who adores you and will stand by your side through this tough time - as I am sure your daughter will. Search in each other and find the parts of your mom that you cherish. Her love of music (David you have that part of her in you)- her love for your father and love of family.
