ATTLEBORO - Maria L. (Simoneau) Marshall, 56, a longtime resident of Attleboro died early Friday, September 10, 2010 in Dedham after a brief illness.

Born December 27, 1953 in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Anne (Gibbs) Simoneau.

Maria grew up in Brockton and was a 1972 graduate of Brockton High School. She lived most of her life in Attleboro.

Maria worked as an electronics assembler at Texas Instruments in Attleboro for over 12 years and had previously worked for several other local electronics companies. She enjoyed ceramics, bingo and camping.

Maria is survived by a son, Walter Simoneau of Attleboro; a brother, Walter G. Simoneau of Central Falls, RI; a grandson, Kristian Simoneau and is expecting another grandchild in February. She's also survived by three step-childred and many nieces and nephews that she loved very much.

She was sister of the late Michelle Dunham.

A memorial Mass will be held in All Saints Anglican Church, 1138 South Main Street (Route 152), Attleboro on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 11 a.m. A time for visitation will be held prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. in the church. A collation will be held after the memorial service in the church. Burial will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Maria Marshall Memorial Fund, c/o All Saints Anglican Church, 1138 South Main Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.
