Cuca you took me under your wing when I first joined IDRA and became my friend and my mentor. I will never forget when you, I and Josie Franco tried writing a song. It is one of many memories that I will keep forever in my heart. Te quiero Cuquita and will always remember you as a wonderful friend, a kind and loving woman and a strong leader. My condolences and prayers to the family.

Many years ago, I served with Cuca on the Our Lady of the Lake University Board of Trustees. I always found her to be very well informed and diligent in her responsibilities. My sincere condolences.
