Not sure what to say?

Gosh, I am so sad to hear this. Mia was so lovely to me when I came to visit for work some years back, including a lovely party in her home for me and colleagues. I felt so welcome. And so impressed with all her work and insights on advance care planning. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Mia was a mentor, guide, seeker, and I was lucky to spend some time learning from her through her words, actions and really good questions. I felt connected to her, valued even though we didn´t know each other long. I think that ability was one of her gifts as well. I am so, so sorry for your loss and so thankful for Mia´s life and contributions to our profession and our community. I was touched by Mia´s kind soul and I am forever thankful.

I am so sorry to learn of Mia's passing. I would like to offer my deepest sympathies to Jeff and her entire family. I did not know Mia well, but enjoyed being a fellow gardener with her at the community garden where we both have plots. She always had a smile and a hello. Her garden flourished every year. I think the garden brought her much joy and hopefully was a solace to her this past year. She will be missed.

Jeff, Clare, Sam, and all of Mia's family, I think you know now how loved Mia was, by those of us who worked with her and were mentored by her, by the patients and families who benefitted from her care. It's an understatement that we will all miss her, but also an understatement of how much she will remain in our lives. She was a friend to all, beloved by many, and she lived her life well. I hope that gives you peace. Sending blessings and love.

My heart and deepest sympathy goes out to Clare, Sam, Jeff, Ann and all her family on the loss of Mia. You all provided her with such incredible love and care during her last weeks here at Agrace, which was beautiful to witness. I share in your sadness and feel very grateful for Mia's friendship and inspiring presence in my life. I will miss her for always.

Mia was such a special person. Her smile was so genuine and freely given. I will remember her fondly.

Mia, I can hear your laughter in my heart. You're so one of the good ones, a woman who truly walked the walk. May your memory be a blessing. Love to you, Mia.

A beautiful obituary-reflective of Mia. I knew her only a short time but during that time she touched my heart. My condolences to all.
