Dr. Maria A. Nunez

What a wonderful doctor and woman she was! I entrusted her with the things most precious to me, my two children. When my daughter was finally too old to go to Dr. Nunez anymore, she was so sad! I can picture her leaning on the examining table talking to my son and daughter, always taking her time with them. She was a special angel for all her patients, their parents, and grandparents. She will always be thought of with love from our family.

Dr. Nunez was wonderful woman who not only cared for me physically- but also spiritually. When I was a little girl she gave me a short prayer to say whenever I felt like my fears where going to get the best of me. I just hope she knew just how much she helped me.

Dr. Nunez was my son's pediatrician. She always took time with each of her patients and families even though her waiting room would be full. She never rushed from one room to the other. Very rare these days. Her passing brings tears to our family who loved her dearly; she was a wonderful woman and we are blessed to have known her.

I started taking my first child to Dr. Nunez when she was born in 1969. She was soon followed by 3 more children who all saw the Doctor until they were out of High School and into college.
I have very fond memories of her. She was never upset when I would call her at home in the middle of the night for what I thought was an emergency.
I have thought of her many times since then and wondered where she was and how she was doing. I will always be grateful for her wisdom and kindness.
