Not sure what to say?

Sr. Maria was a gracious, talented, intelligent woman. I am grateful that she was a part of my life.

Sweet Sister Maria,
I just now learned of your passing into glory; I wish I'd known in time to celebrate your life yesterday... Know that you deeply inspired me with your love, dedication, devotion, and spirit. I was humlbed and blessed to know you.
To your family I extend my deepest condoleces.
With love and gratitude,
Joan Papalia-Eisert

I remember my years at Mercyhurst and not only the theology I learned from her but the life lessons she modeled for us. When I was a student missing classes at Mercyhurst she cared enough to drag me out of bed and take me jogging the campus with her before my 8:00 class. Wonderful memories, wonderful lady!

To the Family of Sr. Maria,
I know I have a special Angel on my shoulder, the same brilliant Sister who was my Theology instructor at Mercyhurst in 1962-63. I still remember lessons learned from Sr. Maria. I will remeber forever her brilliance, gentile spirit and kindness. She served as a magnificent role model to this young Freshman at Mercyhurst. I feel blessed to have talked with her last year at a Mercyhurst function.

You are in my thoughts and...

Sister Maria was a wonderful woman, an inspiration in faith and a loving friend. I had the wonderful opportunity to serve with her as a Eucharistic minister at St. George. I will miss her deeply. My condolences to all she touched.

Sr. Maria. I had the great oppportunity last year to have her as a RCIA teacher. She was a wonderful person with great Faith! She will always be in my heart! Rest in Peace Sr. Maria.

Sister....the Infield Thanksgiving table will not be the same without you...we all love you and will miss you dearly.Rest with the Lord

Sister Maria was a great big help to me during my VISTA year with Catholic Charities Refugee Resettlement Program. She came to many of my events and pitched in with a smile on her face. I'm so grateful to have known her and to have worked with her. Thinking of her family and friends during this time.

Rest in peace, Sr. Maria. Thank you for your many years of service to our Diocese. It was a pleasure working with you.
