There are many things I hold dear to my heart from my childhood, and memories of the Profetas are definitely at the top of that list. So many family get-togethers, either at their house or ours. Endless hours in the basement listening to the Beatles and other record albums! I can still smell their house. There was never a lack of food or fun! Tia Maria was like another mother to us and I can still hear her and Tio Vicente´s voices, always laughing, and always loving. My mother´s best friend....
