Maria L. Rege

There is not a week that goes by that Maria is not in my thoughts at one point or another, and at those times I am reminded of what a great friend she was. I continue to hope that her loved ones are doing well.

Thank you to everyone who has left a note about my mother over the years. Thank you for remembering her, it means more than I can put into words. It is so wonderful to know that she is still thought of after all these years. She really was a one of a kind.

The memories we created together were at a most important time in our lives, we were young, adventurous and carefree. So thankful for the time we had and all the belly laughter we shared.

A year has passed, and I continue to think of Maria. I pray today that her daughter is doing well, and that the extended Rege family continues to find comfort in their memories of such a caring, funny, and sincere wonderful woman. Gone, but never forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear of Maria's passing. I still recall the day we met, and she was a close friend from 6th grade on through high school. She had such a wonderful spirit, and I will always think of her smiling. I pray that wonderful memories of Maria will help all who grieve.
