Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor David Chittenden officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Monday, 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Maria was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands on March 29, 1930. On November 8, 1952 she married Paul Rieman. She was a member of Great Lakes Baptist Temple. She liked to go to casinos, Bingo and loved her family. Surviving are husband, Paul; two children, Michael (Kim) and Cheryl (Frank) Luna; five grandchildren, Jason (Jackie) Rieman, Eric Rieman, Kristina Luna (Brian Rohner), Renee (Kris) Britton and Frank Luna; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Marja; longtime friends, Grace and Shirley.
