Uncle Ralph was always one of my favorite uncles.
As a younger man, while serving in the NAVY, he would make beautiful ship models. His skill and craftsmanship was stunning. From modern battleships, to early sailing ships, they were perfect in every detail.
He would often give these ship models to me when he finished them.
He was a good man, and will be sadly missed.
