Maria Elena Senesac

Maria Elena Senesac, age 75, went home to be with Our Lord and Savior on January 9, 2022 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. She was born April 29, 1946 in Sebastian, TX to Jorge and Cirilda G. Tovar. Maria earned her degree in nursing, graduating from Ivy Tech College. She was a nurse at the McConnell Unit prison in Beeville, TX and retired from the TDCJ after many years of faithful service. After retiring she enjoyed fishing and playing with her miniature donkeys. She also loved dancing, listening to music, her favorite song was "Un Dia a la Vez". She also loved to spoil her grandson.

Maria is preceded in death by her late husband, Thomas Allen Senesac in May 21, 2019, her twin brother, Pedro Tovar, Jorge Tovar II, and Jose Gabriel Tovar.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her two children, Orpha Taylor and son in law Jon Taylor and Robbie Abner Tovar, her only grandson, Vincent Gabriel Tovar, her siblings, Juan Tovar (Sandra), Javier Tovar, Jesus Tovar, Edna Scott, Estella Tovar, Alicia Rocha (Rey), Sylvia Perez Tovar (Homar), Emma Galvan (Tim) and Elvia Hernandez (Manuel); sister in law, Olivia Tovar. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday January 15, 2022 at 10:00 am at Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel of the Holy Spirit. Inurnment will follow to the Tovar Family Cemetery, Sebastian, TX where her remains will be laid to rest beside her husband.
