I have always know Maria as Andrea since She became my best friend when I was 15 years old while attending Grace King HS. I felt that We were just about inseparatable in high school, and remained so until after our first year or so in college at UNO. During our very close friendship, I would have done anything for her, and once had a very did dream where I sat in her chair and took off my legs and gave them to her so she could enjoy walking around, playing ball, riding a bicycle, and running...

I never met Maria but I knew her through her beautiful daughter Emily. Emily spoke with such love and admiration towards her mother. I knew she was a remarkable Christian woman who loved and served her Savior. She made a difference in this world. What a blessing!
