Gene,
our hearts go out to you at this most troubling time. Throughout the nearly forty years you and Maria have been together, I only met her briefly when I was 16, again when I made a surprise visit in Atlanta in 1981, and again at the DFW airport terminal in 1985 on my way to my first overseas assignment.
But thank God I was able to spend the past year along with my family, to care for and finally get to know Maria as family. The sadness has touched us all.
Love,
Juan, Amy,...

In closing , my dearest cousin Gene, allow God's...

Gene,
Sorry I was unable to be with you for the memorial service for Maria. I know going through this isn't easy, and will take sometime getting used to not seeing her; but remember that time heals all wounds, and God is always there to comfort you. We love you, will continue to pray for you, and will keep in touch.
Your cousin,
Linda
