Andrews Funeral Home - Gloucester Obituary

Mariah Diane Compton Duchin
June 13, 1959 - November 30, 2024.                  It is with tremendous sadness that we share that our precious Wife, Mother, Sister and Aunt, Mariah Diane Compton Duchin, passed away on November 30, 2024.  Diane was born on June 13, 1959 in Newport News, VA and was the " favorite" daughter of her loving parents Cecil and Georgia Compton.                          Diane was a brilliant force, an amazing woman, and an intense seeker of knowledge. She had a BA from Christopher Newport and continued learning new and interesting things until the day she passed. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Eric
throughout his career in the Air Force and their stay in Germany was one of her favorite adventures. She was a loving mother to her son Cory, whom she truly adored. Diane had a brilliant quick wit and brought love and joy into all of our lives .                                                             Diane will be reunited in Heaven with her greatly missed parents, Cecil and Georgia Compton. She is survived by her loving husband Eric Duchin, beloved son Cory Coleman , sisters Lisa (Doug) Game, and Debbie ( Mike) Liston. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces Rachel Game, Sydney Gregory, Ryleigh Liston and adored nephews Chris Clary and DJ Game.                                                                 A Service to honor Diane's life will be held at the Church of St. Therese in Gloucester on December 11th at 12 pm. Andrews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
