Not sure what to say?

Dear Allison families, We were sad to learn of your mother's passing today, May 9, 2025, when we called to wish her a happy 102nd birthday. We found her here at Legacy so we're adding our birthday wishes to her guest book page. Our parents, (Don and Dot passed in 2021 and 2023) and yours were life-long friends to the end, and our family continues to share many stories of the early times together in Mariposa, at the Wawona cabin, in Yosemite's back country hiking and fishing, and in...

My deepest condolences to all of you. May God Bless all your family . Marian will be deeply missed.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Marian Allison. She lived an inspiring life, leaving behind a legacy that spans generations. As a librarian and a fellow reader, she shared her love of knowledge and literature with so many. Her wisdom, kindness, and passion for books have left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She was a beacon of love and learning. Her legacy lives on through her wonderful children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who all carry a part of her spirit with...

Nona is our friend. We are greatgrammas too. Marian gave us Nona. Thankyou Marian. We love that marian prioritized love. Love is the touchstone for all of us. The glue that binds us. Love heals countries and their people. Good wishes Marians family. Holly and Bear

Marian was much more like an aunt than a friend to me, and to my siblings, I believe she was an aunt, too! Having known her from about age five, she was a great example all my life. She showed me many kindnesses. I believe she was one of the most multi-talented people I have ever met. You can´t say much at all in a place like this, but the bakers in my family still bake recipes Marian gave us! I still make ink drawings inspired by her, and I make little Christmas stockings that aspire to be...

Marian is in my earliest memories as a family friend. When I moved away from home, we reconnected as her (and my parents') generation aged. I am so privileged to have known her and enjoyed an adult friendship as well as the early childhood connection. I cherish the pen and ink drawings she made for my grandparents, which I inherited from them. I also cherish the watercolors she made for me, decades later. "Love is forever" indeed. Bless you, Marian.

May your loving spirit soar across the universe!

In loving memory of a wonderful person who will be missed.
