Norm and family: My thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm so sorry for your loss. I was away for the weekend and just got this information (Mon. 9:30 p.m.). I'm sorry. She was a great mentor, leader, manager and friend. I have been in a nursing home for 2 months but home now. Wish I could have come down to see her or gone to the funeral. My best to you. Dear Norm and family,
I am sorry I could not be there for you today. I got word late last night of Marian's passing. I always looked up to her as a great leader in our World Book days together, and will always remember her fondly.

Norm and Family--You have my sympathy in the loss of your wife and mother. Marian fought a brave fight and her courage was an inspiration to many. She was a joy to be around even back in our high school days. Pat Van Dalfsen (Seattle WA)
