BURKE, Mrs. Marian Anderson, of Richmond, departed this life May 27, 2009. She is survived by her children, Leon Jr. (Christi), Ronald (Gloria), and Renea Burke; six grandchildren; four sisters; one brother; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; one sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends, among them her former husband, Leon Burke Sr. and his wife, Sonya, and John Stanley. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Streets, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, June 1. Rev. Ralph Hodge officiating. Interment in Maury Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear about your lost. Just know your mother, grandmother is in a better place. She will truly be missed but never forgotten.
