Marian Ellerhorst

Mrs Ellerhorst was my Second Grade teacher at Visatation, the Second year the new Chuch had been opened. I was in her classroom when we heard the news about J.F.K. Mrs Ellerhorst was a very special person who made you feel good about yourself. My thoughts and prayers are with Gary and Mrs. Ellerhorst's entire family.

For three years I had the privilege of sharing a classroom with Marian. It was during a time when she wanted to spend more time with her mother who was ill. She became a good friend and mentor to me. Marian was a wonderful teacher who brought many hands on activities to the classroom. She started the nature trail behind Visitation School and began the tradition of taking 7th graders on a three day outdoor field trip.
