Not sure what to say?

We will miss Grandma Fullenwider. She was a sweet and thoughtful lady. She always greeted us with a cheerful smile and was very interested in what my young children had to share. When Zoe was very young, Grandma gave her a set of tiny, wood angels which she has cherished all these years. As the kids got older, Grandma shared her love of books with them by sending gift cards to Barnes and Noble every year for Christmas. We all have fond memories of our visits with Grandma. The kids would...

Thank you grandma!
For teaching me what it means to love unconditionally. I will never forget the amazing trips we took. My summer vacations in south Lyon. I always looked forward to seeing you and spending time with you. Although you had a packed house, you always had time for a game of clue, or gin rummy. I will carry you in my heart for the rest of my life.

Dear Malcolm, Donald and Peter, Your Mom was my favorite in the Sew and So group. I always enjoyed talking to her and your dad, they always had time to listen to our small talk. I had been thinking of your Mom often and wondering if she was still alive. I still have the copy of the Depression Stories that she put together of the group. May you treasure fond memories of her life. Dianne and Doug Zande

She was a good person, kind, and optimistic. I share her love of reading. Though I saw her little, I love her and always will. I have fond memories of visiting her. She was very thoughtful. Love Zoe (age 12)

She was a very good person, kind and optimistic, though I saw her little, I love her, and always will.

I wish to express my sympathies to Mrs. Fullenwider's family. She was my English teacher when I attendend James Vernor School starting in the 7th grade when we moved into the neighborhood in 1960.I still have the yearbook that our 9th grade class put together at Vernor and her picture remains in there. She was a kind and friendly person. I fondly remember Vernor as an excellent school that very much prepared us for high school. Mrs. Fullenwider was one of the excellent teachers in the school...

Mrs Fullenwider loved northern Michigan and stayed at our motel in Mackinaw City each time she visited our area. Her family once owned the land where our motel sits today. I would visit with her in her room and we would talk for hours. We always enjoyed the time spent with her.I loved the way she always told her Mackinaw stories and we will cherish those times. It is only fitting that we name room 112 the Marion Fullenwider room. She loved the unobstructed view of the straits and bridge from...

Mrs. Fullenwider was one of my teachers at Vernor School. I remember her as soft-spoken and kind. I can't remember what grade, though. This pictue of her is exactly what she looked like at Vernor. I hope your wonderful memories bring you comfort. What a long life!

Mrs. Fullenwider was a positive influence and a remarkable teacher! She was by far,the teacher that I respected the most and her lessons carry me through my career today. She deserved a great life and I suspect she was rewarded in that way.
