On Friday, December 7, 2012, Marian Hsu of Germantown, Maryland, passed away from breast cancer.
Marian is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Winston; daughters and son-in-laws: Linda (Alan) Lee, Potomac, MD, Marisa (Joe) Drake, Scottsdale, AZ; 4 grandchildren: Justin Lee, Gaithersburg, MD, Jessica Lee, Dallas, TX, Christopher and Victoria Lee, Potomac, MD; sister Sally Chu, Troy Michigan and other sisters in Taiwan.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Grace and son-in-law, Curtis Lee.
Marian enjoyed raising champion Yorkies, gardening, cooking, knitting and crocheting. Her generous and loving spirit will be greatly missed by her family and friends, including her friends from the Riderwood Retirement Village, Chinese Senior Center in Germantown, and UT – El Paso community.
The funeral service will be held at a later time in the spring of 2013.

I am truly saddened to hear of your recent loss and would like to express my sincere condolences to you and your family on the recent passing of your mother.
I remember the many times she was very pleased with my cooking. I remember her smile on her face when I brought my Asian dishes for her.
I can imagine how difficult this must be for you and your family. We hope that you find courage and strength to bear this irreparable loss.
