RICHMOND, Virginia
Mrs. Marian Spain Hubbard, of Richmond, departed this life March 23, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham Hubbard Jr.; parents, William and Flora Spain; and two sisters, Nina S. Wallace and Eleanor S. Wilkins. She is survived by her three sisters, Lillian S. Mills, Brenda S. Jeffers and Barbara S. Harrell; one brother, William R. Spain; a host of nieces among them devoted, Letitia L. Shelton and Coretta Shelton, nephews and cousins; one brother-in-law, Isaiah Hubbard; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday March 28, 2013. Funeral services will be held Friday 11 a.m. at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown, pator, offiating. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45 a.m. Friday.

We will miss Aunt Marian. Our memory of Aunt Marian and our mom's store and doctor's visits will always make us smile.
