Of Elm Grove, died Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the age of 91. She was born
Aug 23, 1922, in St. Louis, MO, to Phillip and Frieda Tiltman. Growing up in St. Louis, she was very active in Concordia Turners, a gymnastics organization and Jobs Daughters, where she was president of her bethel. Marian married Milton L. Jungwirth, April 11, 1944 and moved with him to Wisconsin following WWII. She enjoyed her homes in Elm Grove, Presque Isle, Wisconsin, and Ocoee, Florida. Marian enjoyed gardening and animals and she traveled extensively. She was active in the Elm Grove Woman?s Club and president of the Allis Chalmers Women?s Golf League. In recent years, Marian was taken care of by the wonderful staff at the Congregational Home in Brookfield.
Above all she loved her family. Marian was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Milton and her beloved daughter, Barbara A. Barsch. She is survived by three sons, Gary (Linda) Jungwirth of Redlands CA, Roger (Lily) Jungwirth of Milwaukee, Alan (Melissa) Jungwirth of Madison, WI and one daughter, Carol (David) Prasse of Elm Grove; 13 grandchildren, Paul, Phillip and Scott Jungwirth; Michael Barsch; Ken, Jennifer and Tracy Jungwirth; Colin and Leah Jungwirth; Andrea, Erin, Sarah and Kathleen Prasse; 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Contributions in Marian?s name may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or the Elmbrook Humane Society.
A private scripture service was held Monday, October 14, 2013, followed by committal services at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
