I will remember my "Auntie" for her unconditional love and caring to me and my family through thick and thin. She was my rock as a child. Her letters to me in later years were so precious and inspirational, I kept them safely in my family scrape book. She always lifted my heart. Yes, she made the best lemon pie and taught me her recipe when I was about 12 at her home on Yale Street. She would call me every year to sing happy birthday and I will always hear that lovely voice in my phone...

They say it's not the years in your life, but the life in your years, my Aunt Marian had both.
She lived every day to the fullest, joyfully taking care of her family and helping her friends. She loved us all. Her laugh and her smile were a treat.
And when she gave you a hug, you always felt like everything was going to be alright.

A very long time ago (although none of us has aged, I'm sure) I was friends with Judie. Some years after that, I knew Carl and Roni. Marian was unfailingly sweet, kind, thoughtful, and made every visitor to her home feel comfortable and welcome. My thoughts and prayers to her family. I can only imagine how much she will be missed.

Marian was a very dear loving woman to whom family was all important. She was thoughtful and kind....and she did make a fabulous lemon meringue pie! We will miss her very much.
