Marian B. Langley

Langley, Marian B. (Esse) - of Birch Run, age 79, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Barton Woods Assisted Living, in Freeland, MI, with her niece Monica, nephew Sam, and great-niece Michelle, at her side. Funeral services will take place 2PM Monday, March 15, 2010, at the O' Guinn Family Funeral Home, 503 N. Mill St., Clio. Reverend Father Diyodors Mukhti of Canada will officiate. Burial to follow at the Assyrian Cemetery, 2751 Branch Rd, Flint. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-7PM and Monday from 12PM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled Veterans of America, Saginaw Rescue Mission or the charity of your choice. Marian was born on the farm, on April 6, 1930, the daughter of Samuel E. Esse Sr. and Sharin (Oshana) Esse. She has resided in Birch Run/Clio her entire life. After graduating from Clio High School in 1948, Marian began a 30 year career with AC Spark Plug Division of General Motors. Marian was a great lover of animals, and in particular, her cats Boots and Daisy. Surviving are siblings: brother, Samuel E. Esse Jr. of Clio; sisters, Helen Lazar of Flushing, Frances Caine of Geneseeville, Sarah Warda of San Francisco, CA, Martha Aldridge of Clio and many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Esther Koshaba, and nephew Daniel J.
