Not sure what to say?

Marian was such a smiling, upbeat person...Don and I so enjoyed her company at our family reunions in the past. She is now with the Lord, and is at rest at last.

I was blessed knowing Marian as a fellow opera chorus member over many years. Her good humor back stage and sometimes on stage as well were a joy to experience. Always got me laughing, even when choristers are expected to be otherwise. What a gift she was to us. My condolences to Marian's family and thanks for sharing her with folks such as me. Blessings to you.

Marion, I always enjoyed your company. The Normingtons will miss you but so glad you had such a beautiful, full life, surrounded by so many that loved and adored you. God be with you always!

My memories of Mrs. Tenhave start way back into my childhood. I grew up with Jennifer. Jen's Mom was always singing or humming no matter what she was doing. She was always on the move going to sing, shop or the many other activity's she did. I am thankful she is now in heaven and at peace. My prayers go out to the family as they celebrate a life full of joy.

Dear Aunt Marian, You enriched 3 generations of the Vaughn & Stepter family's lives. Your love and influence on our most important days is immeasurable. Knowing you loved us all is the only way I can cope with your passing on into Heaven's arms. Keeping Uncle John and all of the children in our hearts and prayers. Thank you for loving us.

I have so many wonderful memories of Marian from Chamber Choir and Opera Grand Rapids Chorus. Also from trips made with the Chamber Choir. She was always "the life of the party" because she had everyone laughing. Opera performances were never dull with Marian in the women's dressing room waiting for our next time on stage. Our sincere sympathy to her family for the loss of a wonderful woman. Deb & Matt Lehmann

I am saddened to hear of Marian's passing. She never failed to cause those around her to laugh at one of a myriad of jokes or stories. I will remember singing in an opera production trying to keep a straight face, after hearing one of Marian's stories. Marian was a faithful member if Opera Grand Rapids chorus, for many seasons. My prayers are with John, Jennifer and the family.

Enjoyed singing with Marian in GR Chamber choir in years past . She was always a gracious , humorous , and charming presence....will miss her and her lovely smile ! God keep your family strong .
