Marian Tison Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
TISON, Marian Marian Cates Tison, 90, of Atlanta, formerly of New Ellenton, South Carolina passed away on October 4, 2011. Mrs. Tison was a devoted wife and loving mother. She was preceeded in death by her husband Ralph Robert Tison and her 7 siblings. Survivors include her daughter, Vivian Gail Tison; granddaughter Ashley Cheeley Shippey; grandson, Charles Andrew Cheeley; great-grandson Tison Patrick Shippey; and great-granddaughter Vivian Grant Shippey. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 8th at 3:00 PM at St. James United Methodist Church in Atlanta, 4400 Peachtree Dunwoody Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342, 404-261-3121. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at www.donate.americanheart.org.
