Marian J. Whittaker

The pandemic made it impossible to see each other, so we settled for daily phone contact. We laughed, we cried, we boosted each others spirits as needed, and joked about stupid inane things. I shall miss speaking with her and still reach for the phone when I see something I think she would enjoy. Our love of the Yankees and reading books were only two of the things that made us friends. She will forever be in my memory. I hope God is making her happy and at peace.
