I met Mariann first during our Junior League of Fort Lauderdale days then again while we were colleagues at Florida Grand Opera (formerly the Miami Opera). Mariann was a delight to be in the company of during those times. She was prim and proper in the best of ways. Mariann had a life well lived and to be admired.
