Marianna Waroblak

I miss Marianna every day - what a unique, creative, beautiful woman. I can't believe it has been six years.

We had many a caper together and she was always game. Came out to Aspen and on to Durango . I came back to WV and she stayed with Dan. She visited us and always kept us on her adventures with her annual MeriNotes illustrated letters. She and her mom Eleanor were true friends. Mike

Dear sweet Marianna. You are dearly missed by our family here in Kewa (Santo Domingo Pueblo). Your presence at our All Soul´s celebration on Nov. 1st and other cultural days was always such a blessing. Continue to rest in peace dear friend.

Marianna was a good pal on many capers all over. Mom Eleanor let me sleep on their back porch when I needed a refuge. Tim was a winner on my swim team and a WV state diving champion, The Waroblaks knapsack was on my back all over Europe. She was Dan's joy. There was only one Marianna. Mike Snyder

Dan, I am so sorry to have stumbled on this sad news. She was indeed a unique individual.

My dear sweet sister-in-law. You were so kind and loved my son Eric as he was part of your family. You left us too quickly. I am grateful that I had some time to be with you in June this past spring. Always in our hearts.

My arms are around you with heartfelt sympathy! Marianna has been a dear friend since the early 70's in Durango. She was an inspiration, a gift to me, as to her many students and friends locally and world wide. I will miss her so, her most informative Xmas handwritten letters, her humor, her incredible spirit and outlook on life.

Our sincere condolences to Dan, Tim, and Ted. I knew Marianna from childhood. She was truly one of a kind who never forgot her friends. She loved Dan and their life together in Colorado yet always held on dearly to her West Virginia heritage.
