I was deeply saddened to learn of Marianne's death. Growing up as her backyard neighbor on Pikeview Drive, I regarded her as a very joyful person who always looked on the bright side of things and was a delight to be around. My heart-felt sympathies go out to Buddy and the rest of her friends and family.

So sorry to hear of Marianne's passing. She came to my greenhouse every spring for her fern and other flowers. She was so very kind. I often saw Marianne and Buddy together grocery shopping.
