Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Kiegel was one of my favorite teachers. She was my 3rd grade history teacher at Christ the King Catholic grammer school in Hillside N.J. where I grew up. I have a love of history, most likely because of her and I loved going to her class. It's along time ago but I remember her fondly. She was always very firm with us but very fair. She was a great lady. My deepest condolences to the family.

In 1968, Mrs. Kiegle was my second grade teacher at Christ the King School in Hillside, NJ. She was by far, the kindest and bravest teacher that I ever came to know.

By kindest, I mean that she displayed a genuine love and caring compassion to her students. She made a huge impression on us little kids during the most formidable learning age of our lives. She cared to make a difference.

By bravest, she displayed what it meant to be a protective caretaker of God's beloved...

Growing up the Kiegel home was the focal point of many of our childhood activities. Mrs. Kiegel never seemed to mind the army of kids running around her yard day after day. If you stepped out of line though, chances are Mrs. Kiegel was watching, catching you in the act. Her prosecutors background, I would guess. A few years back she assured me that despite my childhood transgressions she would put in a good word for me in the future. Thanks for all the love & patience, Mrs. Kiegel.
