Marianne Truby

I met Marianne when I joined the staff of the Coronado Library in 1987. She retired soon after, but I will always remember her kindness to the new kid, and her beautiful roses. My sincere condolances to the family.

I remember Marianne as the Chula Vista Rose Society President. We put in a garden at the S.D. County fair each year, held our own rose shows and had some great get-togethers. She was a mentor to Joe and I as we were new to roses. She was a woman I admired as a mother, a rosarian, as well as a caring person. My sympathy to all..........Betty Birmingham

Randy and family, my heartfelt sympathies to all of you on the loss of your dear mother. I surely understand the sorrow and the void, having lost ours just before Christmas. Be assured there are a few bright new stars in heaven whose light will never dim.

I wanted to send my sincere sympathy to Marianne's family for your loss. I knew Marianne through my Mother in law, June Niles, when they worked together at the Coronado Library in 1964 and 1965. We lost our wonderfully sweet June in the late 80's to Alzheimer's. Marianne was a dear friend and we hope you too will think of happy memories from those times as we are doing now.
