Not sure what to say?

Michael , if you can see this . I am Cyndi Deshaies , I used to do your mothers nails and she was a friend . I think of her often . She was a wonderful woman . I'm sad I never got to see her . I hope you're doing well. She was always so proud of you . Cyndi Deshaies

I am so sad to hear of this! I just found out! Maribeth was one of my nail customers and a dear friend for years! I recently was just thinking of calling her. I wish I had. I am so sorry for the loss of an amazing woman! I am sorry Michael and Karen, she talked of you both often.

Thank you for everything M, I would not be the person I am today were it not for the care and inspiration you gave others. It feels like yesterday that I came during free period to decorate and replace the bags for novel and film, but I know life moves on and you can now be at ease. You would be happy to know that I am still pursuing pre-med, as we joked may be able to help you someday. I'll miss your letters and messages, but they will never be forgotten. You have a wonderful family and...

M. Worthy was my favorite teacher in high school. She was so full of humor and she wasn't afraid to speak her mind. So sad to see her go but if there is any good in this world than she will have found peace

Maribeth was a truly gifted teacher and a wise , compassionate woman. As the asst. principal for guidance services, I would spend the summer responding to requests from many students who wanted to be in her classes, which were always full. She always gave her very best to her students and her colleagues, in spite of her health challenges. I only wish she could have enjoyed her retirement in better health. These words from Walt Whitman speak to me of her at this time:

"This is thy...

M Worthy was a wonderful teacher and a great woman at heart. She was always there for her students in times of strife and confusion offering words of wisdom. Her whit was endless and her smile infectious. It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye.

Mrs. Worthy was a wonderful teacher and a real difference-maker in our education, our lives and those of all of her students. She saw the whole person, and appreciated that person for himself/herself, and was able to inspire their best work. A testament to Mrs. Worthy's ability to touch the lives of her students was reflected in how many college recommendations she was asked to write each year. Everyone saw Mrs. Worthy as being in his/her “corner” and able to understand and convey the real...

I have such fond memories of Maribeth that start from the days when we were youngsters. She and her sister Karen were our special cousins from Michigan who would come down to Arkansas every summer to visit grandparents and us. We were always so excited to see them and we had such good times together. Maribeth was easy to talk to and we had some great discussions as well as lots of laughs. I loved her so and I thank God she was part of our family. Rest in peace sweet lady.

Maribeth was a wonderful, caring woman. I liked her from the first time my brother Steve introduced her to our family seventeen years ago. When our big, crazy family had parties and gatherings, she was always the calm and steady presence among us. She wii be missed.
