Hi Charles. I took care of your mom at Youville and I've been waiting to hear an update after she was sent out to Boston. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. I enjoyed working with her and caring for her. She was such a gentle woman. I hope that her passing was peaceful and you and your family are healing. You remain in my thoughts.

I met Marie in the early 70's and tried to convince her to move back to New Orleans when she retired. I took her around to show her houses and neighborhoods that were closed to her as a child. I think she toyed with the idea, but her love for Boston and her life there in Boston and her family in Boston had a stronger pull. A Letter to my Mother
