Marie Borek

John, Brian and Lori, Marie was the Matriarch of IATSE Local 26 and a mother to many of us. As the Head of Wardrobe, her strong presence and support of Gene at home and work kept the Stagehands Union alive for several lean years. All of us that have chosen to earn a living in the Theatrical Entertainment business in West Michigan owe her a debt of gratitude and thanks. I hope the memories of Marie will fill your mind, warm your heart and lead you through as it does me.

I always enjoyed seeing her and your dad coming to Mass, and conversing in Polish with them.
