Some of my best childhood memories have Bernie and Marie Chapek in them. From them yelling at me for running so fast past them and not saying hi or them telling me where the other kids we're hiding during hide and seek. The two of them made me laugh and laugh for hours. I enjoyed their company as much as I hoped they enjoyed mine. The moment we pulled into the drive at basslake I would run over just to tell them "we are here!"
