My heart is very sad to learn of the passing of your mother and my friend and mentor, Marie. She always helped me to remember the importance of being a gentleman. Oh yes, and when dressed up, one should never wear a button down collar! She had the perserverance of a saint and taught me many things during the years I worked for her. I am not very familiar with your Mom, however, I was at my sweet dear Mother-In-Laws wake in Feb 2010. I recall, whom I believe was your Mom. & Grandmother, stood in the foyer and made sure all was going off without a hitch. I was so impressed at how, undeniably, she was the Matriarc of the Family & Funeral Home and remained in the buiness. A very spry "young lady" doing what she loved best!
