Marie took in anyone with a need. She kept boys out of Boys Harbor when she and Harry were on strike with Shell Oil and could barely feed themselves!
She was very dear to me and will be greatly missed.

Marie and my mother, Bertha were best friends. Marie was there for me 2 years ago when my mother passed away. Marie was like a second mother to me. I feel like I've lost 2 mothers now.
