Peace and love to everyone mourning the passing of dear Chickie. We met working the polls - for elections - in Las Cruces. (Our little joke!) Our connection deepened as we discovered we were both Catholics, and with John, had a common cause for the common good. The talks over lunch, the prayers celebrated at Masses, and the notecards, postcards, and texts we exchanged will always remain precious memories. She was precious! Rest in the loving embrace of our merciful and compassionate God, amiga.

I´m so sad to learn about my dear friend. She and I worked together over 50 years ago in San Bernardino,California. We maintained our friendship since then. I will miss her, she was a wonderful friend.
