To the all the Fitzgeralds:

Please accept Peg and my condolences on the passing of Professor Marie. She and I taught many students at HCC over the years and my opinion of her ability and charm was never diminished. Her diligence and keen sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her.
I recall that several times she (not a large woman) positioned herself in the biology laboratory entrance/exit to assure that reluctant students would not leave early or before work was done all...

Hi to all who were Marie's students!
Marie was my mother, and I took care of her as her health declined in the last years of her life.. My son has few memories of Grandma the Professor. He was too young when she was young, and she was too old when he was old enough. So please, leave a comment, so my son's final memories of Grandma will include some visions of how she was in her prime.

My sister, Linda, helped care for Marie for several years. Her love for Marie was clearly evident as she shared numerous endearing stories of their time together. I wish I knew Marie and am grateful to Linda for bringing this amazing lady into my life through her.

My condolences to Julie my high school classmate. I enjoyed my visits to your parents home when your father was ill. You have a wonderful family.
