A truly sweet, kind and caring cousin called before her time. Her spirit, legacy and example live on.

We forgot to mention that we've made a donation to the John Paul II Medical Research Institute in Marie's name in support of their research into MS and other neurologic diseases. We trust that Marie's intercession will help make their work fruitful.

Marie was a sweet, kind woman. My daughter went to Our Lady of Loretto with Matt. So very sad for the family. She was a delete . She's in God's hands now. RIP, Marie.

With a heavy heart I send my Deepest Sympathy to Maries Family. I had the privilege of doing Marie's Hair for the past several years. She was the most beautiful lady! I will miss her so much! We had so many wonderful conversations about her life an her wonderful family. I am so sad an wish you all many Prayers thru this difficult time. God Bless! Linda Obrien

I am a Mercy classmate of Marie and remember her being such a sweet person - always very gentle. Was not aware she was so sick for so long and would love to attend the celebration of her life. Unfortunately, we have another celebration of life of a family member to attend tomorrow at the same time as Marie's Funeral. My heart and prayers go out to her children, grandchildren and family.
She was a lovely, giving lady and I am sure she is happy now to join her husband and family members....

To Marie's family, we send our condolences to all of you. Her reputation as a lovely lady, is well known.
She will be missed. As she transitions to her new home to join her husband and parents, we will keep her in prayers.

It's sad that our culture and economy have made it so hard for families to live close together. But cousin Marie and her family have always been close in our hearts and prayers despite the half continent that has physically separated us for close to 50 years. Unfortunately, that distance (and serious travel-weather problems) are keeping us from joining the family to celebrate her life.

A far cry from when we grew up just around the corner from each other in The Sunset. Family...

Marie was a cherished member of the Belforte family. Her kindness and wisdom have been constant as we navigated life's challenges. We celebrate her life and we're most blessed to call her one of ours. Thank you Richie for bringing her to us.
