Marie Franke was my neighbor for the last few years. She welcomed my family and was always the most pleasant, stylish woman on the block. I will miss our occasional Friday gatherings I loved Marie and knows she is resting comfortably in heaven.

When someone we love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Therefore, cherish the times spent with loved ones-draw strength from the love of family and friends-and may God's word and his loyal love comfort you and help you through this difficult time. Psalms 119:50,76

Mrs Franke was my Teacher at School 23 in the 70's She was a great Teacher

Marie was a humble, intelligent, kind, and very talented individual whom it was an honor to know and work with in the old St James choir.

She'll be singing in the heavens with her angelic voice "Ave Maria."

I am so sad to hear Marie has passed. What an amazing woman and inspiration to all. Marie was a special friend to our family and has influenced us all in so many ways. We can never be the same without her smile, her wonderful kind , gentle ways and her incredibly Warm Heart. Marie was instrumental in holding up our Italian Heritage in Albany. Much Love to the family and know if you need anything, the Andrianos are always here for you.

Marie was a cherished friend of my parents Don and Mary Ford. Marie taught my sister Mary Ellen piano as an adult. Our family has such a fondness for Marie.

My condolences to Marie's family. She brought immeasurable comfort to our family at my mother's funeral where her Ave Maria transformed a difficult day into one that reminded us there is beauty at every turn. I'll never forget her.

So very sorry to read of Marie's passing. She was a dear lady and a wonderful musician. It was always a pleasure to hear her beautiful voice. I had the honor of accompanying her on many occasions. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
