of Newark Marie Gaines of Newark departed this life on Nov. 18, 2008. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Peace and Glory Home for Funerals, 525 Summer Ave., Newark. Survivors include her son, Mark Gaines; sister, Ruby Lane; brother, Isaac Gaines and a devoted niece, Dorothy Townsend.
