Sorry to hear of Marie's passing. I worked with her husband Leroy at Hughes.

Mrs. Gallhouse was my 2nd grade teacher at St. Joes and a peer of my mother also. We were a large Catholic family and my mother was run ragged as teacher, mom, business owner with my Father's Mobile gas station and all the minutia of life.
I had a hard transition coming from Detroit and a rough time just trying to belong. I was blessed to have my Nana Katie as a constant ally and protector, but she was aged already and did so much for my mom that 80 year old women should be stepping...
