Marie J. Gamache

My auntie Marie was unassuming but she made a lasting impression on people. Only 4´8" at most, she had determination and drive. She grew up in Vermont on the family farm and spent time with her sisters and brothers at Lake Champlain. In her twenties, she taught at Annhurst Women´s College in Woodstock, CT and was a strong advocate for education. I worked at a law firm one summer while in college, Marie was my supervisor. She called me her "little helper." She always encouraged and praised me. We remained pen pals and have exchanged letters and Christmas cards for 30+ years. I will certainly miss the arrival of this year´s card. Rest in peace Marie.

Going to miss my sweet little Aunt Marie. She always brought joy and laughter to all of our family get togethers. I will always remember her giggle. She was truly one of a kind and always put others first. A gentle soul to all who knew her. Happy for her to now be in the loving embrace of her family, free from pain.
